It is probably the most important tourist center in the Nicoya Peninsula (Guanacaste, Costa Rica) and a reference point for travelers in the Costa Rican Pacific coast. This place is a mix of coast nature and all the luxuries of a recreational center, such as hotels, international restaurants and other facilities.
Sámara connects with Nicoya through a highway (36 kms) which goes up to Puerto Carrillo (5 Kms).
